Lately I have been pondering inspiration and what it means to be inspired. In art and in life.
Like what if you woke up suddenly one morning with nothing to inspire you?
Would you even get out of bed?
Someone I know recently said:
"You're addicted to inspiration. You consume it but do nothing. You've been inspired enough for a lifetime; it's time to go make something."
I have been thinking about how your inspiration fuels your personal artistic style. I am only now beginning to really take a look at what I am drawn to
and make a conscious effort to draw from that for my art.
I think it is important to analyze what inspires you and how that inspiration infects and affects your decisions and creations.
I have started trying to take morning walks. I feel like I am able to take a deep breath and breathe in creativity and creation and air early in the morning that I can't get any other time and in any other way. I hear things on those walks...answers to questions...ideas for work and for's a good time, worth protecting.

Scenes from today's walk:
